Age 13 - G cup... really?

When puberty hits, our teenage girls find their shape changing, and submitting to a bra-fitting hits the top of the ‘most embarrassing experiences’ list. It’s well-known that women are bigger than they were a decade ago. It has become quite normal for a 13 year-old with a small frame to need a size 6G bra. She’s usually wearing a 10D; the cups are too small, the back is too big with little support.  Read full article here

Over 40?

Women over 40 are no longer overlooked by fashion stores and made to feel invisible. In 2011 the 40+ woman is not frumpy, old fashioned or bored. With the right foundation provided by beautiful well-fitting lingerie, women are increasingly confident about who they are and elevated by a positive self image. There is nothing more sexy than a smiling, self confident woman. Read full article here.

Do you really want to Minimise?

When women ask for a Minimiser it's because they think a Minimiser will make them look smaller in the bust. What a minimiser bra does is squash the bust and spread it across the chest, so you appear to have no shape. Your waist is gone and you end up looking more like a barrell than an hourglass. However, when fitted correctly into a bra which separates your bust and lifts and the full length of your torso is revealed making you appear much slimmer than you could ever imagine.

14DD? I don't think so!

Take Pamela Anderson as a prime example.  Reported as being a 34C (12C) before surgery and a 36DD (14DD) after surgery. With breast implants the band size does not change, only the cup size - so this report is obscure.

Pammie’s frame would suit clothes size 8 which means her under-bust size is more likely to be an 8 (30). She could possibly be a size 10, but most definately not a 12 or 14. We haven’t met a woman yet who needs a bigger band size than her dress size (biggest bra fitting mistake ever). The reason some women wear such big band sizes is to achieve the bigger cup size.  When stores do not carry smaller band sizes in bigger cups, women are fitted into bigger band sizes to increase the cup. WRONG WRONG WRONG!!! Find a better store and a better fitter. Anyone can see from this image of Pamela Anderson that she is not a size 14 back. We estimate her to be at least 8G (30G).
