Size 8 is Brava's most trafficked band size, and for good reason — it's a combination that mainstream retail genuinely fails. A size 8 woman with an F, G, or H cup will typically encounter one of two responses at a high-street fitting: being told she doesn't exist, or being sized up to a larger band in a smaller cup to find something that roughly fits. DD cup is where mainstream retail starts to thin out, but Brava's DD range is comprehensive across all band sizes from 6 to 24. One thing worth knowing: in Australian and UK sizing, DD is a single increment above D — not double the volume. It follows the convention of adding a second letter once the alphabet runs out. If you've been sizing yourself by guessing, a proper fitting often reveals women in DD who've been wearing D, or women in E who've been wearing DD.
