Welcome to Brava's bra size chart for Australia — covering band sizes 6 to 22 across cups D through KK, with conversions for UK, European, French and US sizing. As Australia's specialist in D–K cup sizes, we know there's no "standard" bra size, and finding the right fit makes more difference than going up or down a size ever will.

How to measure your bra size

You'll need a flexible tape measure. Wear an unpadded bra (or no bra) for the most accurate result.

1. Measure your band. Wrap the tape measure around your ribcage, directly under your bust. Keep it level and snug — but not so tight it digs in. This is your underbust measurement in centimetres.
2. Measure your bust. Wrap the tape measure around the fullest part of your bust. Keep it loose enough to fit a finger underneath. This is your overbust measurement.
3. Find your Australian size. Use the chart below to match your underbust to a band size, then the difference between your overbust and underbust to a cup size. If you're between sizes, size down on the band and up on the cup.

Bra sizing is rarely as straightforward as the numbers suggest — especially in D+ cups, where small differences in band tension change how the cup sits. If your measurements put you in a size that doesn't feel right, that's a sign to talk to a fitter, not to keep guessing.

Australian bra size chart with international conversions

The chart covers Australian (AUS), United Kingdom (UK), European (EUR), French (FR) and American (USA) bra sizes. AUS and UK band numbers use different conventions, but cup letters mostly align. EUR and FR use centimetre-based band numbers. US sizing uses the UK band number with American cup conventions (which add a third "D" — DDD — instead of the F cup used everywhere else).
