The Bikinis Every Busty Woman Should Be Wearing This Summer
The sun is shining and the time has come to hit the beach.
Beaches mean bodies and bodies mean bathers and as a person who wears an 8GG, the thought of shopping for one is terrifying.
You all know what that's like right?
It's sitting on the fitting room floor surrounded by a sea of bikinis with incredible prints you will never pull off. It's scouting the racks for something with enough material to cover your boob and coming up blank and it's feeling embarrassed to come out of a dressing room because the top you tried on cuts your breast in half.
As a teenager I spent most of my summer at the caravan park in Torquay. I was a short, awkward brunette miles out of proportion with a giant rack and tiny hips. My friends were blonde, long-legged beauties who bought their bathers from surf stores along the coast. They were tiny triangles on a draw-string and they were so small they could have doubled as an eye-patch.
I was desperate to fit in so I did the same. When I ran it was like Pamela Anderson was sprinting on Baywatch and when I tried to ride a wave I would flash unsuspecting onlookers.
I was a mess and the beach became my own personal hell.
These days brands are doing a lot more to cater for women like me and there is nothing I love more than a day at the beach
The Freya Remix Convertible Bikini:
I bought this bikini top earlier this season and am absolutely obsessed with it. It's the perfect athletic top to flaunt at the beach or the by the pool and you can adjust the straps three different ways for a different look (and tan line) every time.
My favourite thing about a black basic is the fact that you can spice it up with some colourful bottoms, keeping the look fresh every time you get in the water.
Freya Macrame Padded Bandeau Bikini:
This black bad boy is another winner for the busty women of the world. It's handmade macramé detailing demands a little more attention than the Freya Remix but still has a minimising effect. It's also a bandeau. Yes ladies, you can wear a strapless without having to pull it up all day.
Freya Island Girl Deco Moulded Bikini:
This tropical treasure is for the girl that feels better in a moulded cup. It gives the girls a lift, making them look super perky by the beach.
The vibrant greens and aqua blues will stand out against any skin tone.
Freya Drift Away Sweetheart Padded Bikini:
This nautical number is the ultimate poolside bikini. You'll be right on trend with a classic navy and white stripe accompanied by rope inspired detailing.
With a sweetheart neckline, great support and killer cleavage, this is definitely my next buy!
Don't waste your time comparing your body to others, your shape is unique and you are beautiful.
