Honestly this bra is my first pick to wear under white tops. I'm not a big fan of nude or white bras and this one is light enough to wear under white tops without showing which I love!
Like all of the Ewa Michalak bras it provides plenty of support while being one of the most comfortable bras I've ever owned. It has an amazing round shape that also provides some cleavage to wear with lower cut tops and removable padding for extra boost or when it loses a little shape.
This is a beautiful bra in a delicate blush colour and provides an amazing upfront, rounded shape with incredible cleavage, and without sacrificing support. The wires are nicely narrow on my slender frame, and the shoulder straps are comfortable for every day wear.
The band is quite tight compared brands such as Freya or Panache - most UK brands in a 6/28 band will stretch to at least 29" giving a bit of breathing room, however this Ewa 6GG barely stretches to 28" and I would say it is significantly tighter than my Panache Sport in the same size.
The fit however is absolutely amazing and is what Ewa Michalak is famous for - if you have been considering trying this Polish brand do yourself a favour and give it a try. Well done Brava for choosing to stock Ewa - especially in the small band/large cup range that can be so difficult to find in Australia.
Size Range: 6 - 18 & D - K cup / Price Range: $74.95 - $79.95
To many of our fitters, Ewa Michalak is known as the bra magician. For many of our customers, once they discover Ewa, they are a fan for life hanging on her latest designs and colourways – she has a growing and cult following and it is easy to see why.
Polish designer, Ewa Michalak has a special way with bras where she can provide amazing lift and cleavage for women of all shapes and sizes for an incredibly fair price point. The narrow shape of the wires is perfect for women who have problems with wires protruding into their armpits, and the impressive side support creates a lovely silhouette and considerably narrows the bust and flatters the waist with ease up to a K-cup. Most of the padded cups include removable padded inserts which can be used either to correct uneven breast size or for a fun, additional push-up for that extra va-va-voom. They produce a range of plunge, half cup and balconette shapes in padded and non-padded styles, as well as a nursing bra with an underwire.
BELIEVE THE HYPE!
tl;dr—The hype around Ewa Michalak is REAL.
SHAPE
* Round, uplifted, and centred. This bra makes my clothes fit better instantly. I have yet to experience anything like it from any other brand (though I am curious to see how Comexim and other Polish brands compare).
BAND
* Uniformly firm. Result: a smooth look with minimal to nonexistent back fat.
* Tight. Even though I've gone from a 10 band to a 4/6 band since buying this bra, it still fits if I use the tightest setting.
STRAPS
* Best for broad shoulders. I've heard this is a common feature for Ewa's bras.
* If you have narrow, sloping shoulders like mine, it will probably still fit. However, it won't be as comfortable because the weight of your breasts won't be distributed optimally. (Of course, it doesn't help that my band size has changed since buying the bra.)
CUPS
* The most comfortable I've worn—so soft against the skin!
* Seamed, not moulded.
* Fairly deep, which my Full On Bottom shape greatly appreciates.
* The underwires are narrow but also go up rather high on the armpit side. I am very short—five foot nothing at best—so the side of the cups and part of the band are visible if my clothes have large arm holes.
* The design and/or placement of the balconette cups might work better for breasts that have more inner fullness (more volume near the cleavage than the armpit).
