Mainstream swimwear is designed for a B–C cup bust. The cups are shallow, the support is structural, and anything beyond a DD is treated as an extension rather than a starting point. What to look for in a bra-sized swimsuit

The difference between bra-sized swimwear and standard swimwear in a larger size is the cup construction. A bra-sized top has a channelled underwire sitting on the chest wall — not just a wire-shaped decoration — and cup fabric that maintains its shape in and out of water. The fit result is a top that stays in position when you swim, surf, or move, rather than shifting and requiring adjustment throughout the day. At D–F cup, this is a noticeable improvement.
