FF is one of the most commonly mis-sized cups in swimwear. Plenty of women wearing an FF bra end up in an F or a G swimsuit simply because the brand does not range FF, and neither compromise fits: the F is shallow across the cup, the G is loose at the band.
Getting the size right
Buy your bra size. A swimsuit ranged in FF has been cut for that cup depth rather than graded from a neighbouring size, which is what stops the bust sitting low or spilling at the top edge once the fabric is wet.
