Most mainstream nursing brands stop at E or F cup, and the ones that go further often scale up a cup shape designed for a smaller size. At FF that produces a shallow cup that cannot cope with the size changes that come with feeding.
What an FF cup nursing bra needs
The bra has to work across a real size range, because the bust fills before a feed and reduces after — often more than a cup size across a day. The cup needs enough structure to support when full without digging when it is not, and the drop-down clip has to open one-handed.
Brands and styles
Hotmilk, Cake Maternity and Elomi all range FF cup nursing bras. Wirefree and flexi-wire options are worth considering in the early weeks — see wirefree maternity bras and the full maternity and nursing range.
