What to look for at D cup
At D cup, you have the most style flexibility of any fuller-bust size — most of the major brands stock your size well, and you can generally wear both full-cup and balcony styles comfortably. The key fit check: the underwire should sit flat on the ribcage, the cup should contain the full breast with no spillage at the top or sides, and the band should do most of the lifting work. If the straps are digging in, it usually means the band is too loose.
