Why F cup fit is different

At F cup, underwire engineering matters significantly. The wire needs to be long enough to clear the side breast tissue, deep enough to sit below the full projection of the bust, and firm enough to hold its shape under weight. A wire that distorts or pokes is almost always the wrong width, not the wrong size. At F cup you also start to see a meaningful difference between brands built for fuller busts (Panache, Elomi, Prima Donna) and brands that go up to F cup as an extension of a mainstream range — the latter tend to scale the cup shape rather than redesign it, which produces a shallower, less supportive result.

Panache is a fitting room staple at F cup — sturdy wires, consistent cup depth, and a full range of styles. Prima Donna is the investment pick: Belgian-engineered, long-wearing, and particularly good for busts that are full on top. Elomi is the go-to for bands 14 and up — their deep U-wires sit well on a fuller torso. Freya works beautifully for narrow, projected busts. Sculptresse is an excellent value option for larger band sizes with a wider chest.
