Why construction matters more at FF cup
At FF cup, a swimwear top without proper underwire support will lose its shape quickly under the weight of the bust — especially in and out of water. The cups need to be constructed like a bra cup: firm outer fabric, a channelled underwire that sits on the chest wall and lifts from below, and tall enough cup height to contain the full breast without digging across the top. Soft-cup or triangle styles, however well-intentioned, simply can't provide this at FF cup.
Side support panels are also worth prioritising at this size — they stop the bust migrating outward under the arm, which both improves shape and prevents the top from shifting during activity. Look for adjustable straps set away from the neck.
