Lingerie shorts — also called boyshorts — cover more of the upper thigh than a standard brief. Several brands in the Brava range, including Primadonna, Empreinte, Freya and Marie Jo, produce coordinating shorts.
Style notes
Shorts sit at the hip rather than the natural waist. Under fitted clothing, they sit smoothly without leg-edge lines that some brief styles create at the thigh. For tailored trousers and pencil skirts where visible lines are a concern, shorts are often more reliable than bikini or thong styles. For the complete range including thongs, bikini briefs, and high-waist options, browse all lingerie bottoms. For shapewear shorts with control fabric, see shapewear.
